Ten years on I have the same feelings on hearing of Taghi's passing: On several occasions over the years I lived in Petaluma I had the delightful experience of sitting with Taghi in his shop. We chatted about rugs, history, Iran, and the US over tea and pastries. These are treasured memories. And they are constant as the rugs I purchased from Taghi grace many rooms in my house. Thank you so very much for your time and sharing, Taghi.

Having only heard this sad news today - I knew Taghi for a few years as I live in Petaluma and visited him in his shop here. Taghi was a wonderful man, a great conversationalist, a wise observer of the political scene, a man devoted to his family and to his faith, and a supreme master of the beauty and history of rugs. My deepest condolences to the Rezaian family. Please know that my life has been enriched by knowing Taghi. The rugs that I bought from him and the memories of our conversations are my prized possessions. Most sincerely, Andrea Linton

Thinking of the whole Rezaian family. Remembering Taghi as loving dad who was really proud of Jason and Ali.

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Taghi greatly on my walks in the YMCA pool. We talked about many different subjects and we never could figure out why the powers to be could not solve the problems as simply as we could. I will truley miss him as a friend.

Dear Mary,
Today I was so sorry to hear of Taghi's passing. He was such a gracious, kind man to me....he helped me with rug appraisals for many years and I was always astonished at how kind, loving and giving a person he was. I will miss him very much and hope that you and your family are managing through this very, very sad time.
With love,
