William H Share

March 8, 1935 - June 28, 2025

Hollywood Beach, Florida - It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of William Henry Share, who passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, June 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, with the music of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan two of his favorites playing softly in the background.

William is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mona Share; his cherished son, Stuart; daughter-in-law, Traci; and his adored grandchildren, Val and Ava, who brought him endless pride and joy.

William was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength touched all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1st at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 3201 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024. Shiva will be observed immediately following the funeral and will continue throughout the week at the Share residence, 3185 NE 207th Terrace, Aventura, FL, with visiting hours from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chabad of Kendall, Wounded Warriors, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, or any Chabad organization of your choice, in William's memory.

May his memory be for a blessing.

Stuart, I am deeply saddened to hear about Uncle Billy's passing. Growing up, your mom and dad were such a meaningful part of my life as members of our extended family. Uncle Billy took me to my first Flyers game, introduced me to the Doors, the Stones and Springsteen and through his pride in your accomplishments encouraged me to become a lawyer. Most significantly, Uncle Billy was a constant reminder to my father that being a good parent and a good friend were not mutually exclusive. Your dad was truly the "cool parent" before that became a thing. I will miss him.

Stuart, my dear friend, had and has MANY friends, and all of us always wanted to be around Bill. He lived the HELL out of life, loving fiercely, and always looking for the best in everyone. He taught me that when you hear that sound of a martini shaker, it's GOING To be a great night. He also led by example of being an awesome husband, father, father in law, and grandfather -- and one look no further than his loving and devoted family to see proof of that. I am forever grateful of the times we spent at meals, cocktails, family events, or just talking for hours. I am grateful for Bill's wisdom. He will be missed terribly, and always remembered.
