Minneola, Florida - Yolanda Martinez Toscano; born January 17, 1947 in Artemisa, Cuba, died October 11, 2023 at her home in Minneola, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Toscano Sr., her father, Eugenio Rolando Martinez, and her mother, Mercedes Mendez Madero. Yolanda is survived by her son, Antonio Toscano Jr. and his family, and Day Toscano. A strong, independent woman, Yolanda is remembered with love for her attention to family and friends. She remained interested in current events and kept up with happenings in her previous home of Miami through publications and conversations with family and friends there. We honor her memory as a loving mother, mother-in-law, abuela, and friend.

Yolanda, your death is a shock. Had my Father been alive, this would have devastated him. Thank you for always being so wonderful with my Father and thank you for always sharing your Father with me. I have many wonderful memories spent during holidays with you and my Dad and your Dad. Thank you for driving Dad to his grandaughter's first birthday. So many thanks, for so many things. I regret not having said a proper goodbye. I hope you find your dad and my dad in heaven and tell them both how much i miss them and how i lost i feel. You are missed
