Earl Palmer Obituary

Earl Deane "Buzz" Palmer, 85, died Jan. 28, 2016, at his residence with family by his side. A private service and burial will be held at a later date next to his beloved wife and boys. Mr. Palmer was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Wisconsin to Otis and Nina Palmer. Earl and Bonnie moved from the coast to Bonanza in 1995 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and flying his radio-controlled airplanes. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Debrora and Charles Elliott of Bonanza; granddaughters, Angee McQueen of Fayetteville, N.C., and Jodi Palmer; grandsons, Brian (Teresa) Palmer, Jason Palmer and Eric Palmer; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and two step-granddaughters, Diane and Cindy. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Bonnie Jean; his "Real Sons," Harold "Butch" Palmer and Danial Palmer; and his brothers, Howard and Elwood Palmer. Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, directors, at 2680 Memorial Drive, Klamath Falls, OR 97601, 541-883-3458, is in charge of the arrangements.
