Jamie D. Sanders

1986 - 2025

The parents of Jamie D. Sanders regretfully announce the passing of their daughter. Jamie Diane Cross was born to Robert and Marla on July 20, 1986 and passed after a long battle with autoimmune disease and organ failure on October 31, 2025.

After attending school locally, Jamie graduated from OIT in 2005 with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She married Tony Sanders May 27, 2006.

The couple have two children, Harlie Jean Sanders and Wyatt James Sanders. Jamie worked at the Joshua Tree School system and raised their two children while Tony finished serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, which included three deployments. After his discharge from the Marines, the family moved to Texas. Jamie continued her duties as mother to Harlie and Wyatt while Tony worked in the oil fields. Jamie started an at home business called "Elevate and Inspire". She custom printed clothing and accessories. She went on to earn a Bachelor's and then a Master's degree in Advertising Specialty Information. Her business was very special to her.

Jamie was very bonded to music, especially country music. She enjoyed playing along on her banjo. Jamie brightened everyone's day that she encountered. She was always first to offer money, food or clothing to any less fortunate person that she met.

Jamie will be deeply missed by her family and friends. The world was a better place while she was here. She will be laid to rest beside her brother, Benjamin, that passed before her, in Malin OR at a private family service.
