Larry Mittnacht Obituary
After graduating from Fresno State in 1967, he accepted a position with Beacon Oil Company in Hanford, CA. He became the Retail Credit Manager with a staff of 15 employees. He then moved to Eugene, OR, and was self employed, operating Beacon Oil Service Stations. This is when he met his long time sweetheart, Liz. They moved to Klamath Falls and purchased Ray's Market. Larry was involved in business and real estate and was very passionate about it. Larry was praised by his family as a great father and a great man who always put his family interests first.
When he had some free time, he loved going to Brookings with Liz and fishing for salmon. He also enjoyed playing golf and "taking a little money" from his friends. Larry was very candid and attentive in conversation, and was always ready with a witty comment.
Survivors include his long time companion Elizabeth Onove; son Larry Mittnacht Jr; daughter Laura Rose; grandchildren Walker Mittnacht, Makenna Mittnacht, Amber Ezell; great grandchildren Calliope Ezell, Iris Ezell.
A reception will be held at Nibbley's Cafe, 2424 Washburn Way.
O'Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Liz and all of Larry's family. I first met Larry and Liz in 1985 when they were looking to by Ray's market. I really enjoyed Larry as a boss. He was always happy to be going fishing or golfing. Thinking of you at this grievous change in your lives.

My husband and I have been tenants of Larry's at his Nevada St duplex since 2013 and will truly miss him. He was always a pleasure to talk to and congenial and easy-going about pretty much everything. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We will miss Larry!
