Kathy, I will never forget you and Jay helping our friend Joyce Black when she became ill in ATL. We were so fortunate to have you there when she so desperately needed a helping hand. She is gone now but her friends will always remember you and Jay and cherish your kindness and friendship.

My memory of Jay (and Kathy) were their deep faithfulness in God and Jesus. His loving kind heart has honestly made a forever lasting impression on me. I still have the John Deer blanket with me given by him and Kathy. His ever loving talks about riding in airplanes and the model numbers makes me think of him when I travel on a plane. He truly touched my life in such a positive way and it is through the Pralls that I have come to know Jesus Christ. God bless you Jay Prall. Love to your family.

Kathy, I have just learned through a Faith for Today memorial gift post on FFT's 67th anniversary email from Mike Tucker that Jay passed away almost a year ago. I'm so very sorry. I remember when you two were dating in Takoma Park, and you have both been special to me through the years although our paths didn't often cross. Know that I care, dear classmate! Kathy and family, I am so very sorry to learn of Jay's passing. I'm still in shock over the news. I was so looking forward to seeing you both in New Orleans at the Airliners International Meet next month. We became friends through Jon Proctor and the World Airline Historical Society. Jay was a true Prince of a man and a wonderful friend. The world and WAHS will not be the same without him. I've lost a good friend and so enjoyed our time together. You have my sincere sympathy. Smooth Flight my friend.

We enjoyed more than nine years of making music & memories together with a tight-knit group of beloved friends. That group included Jay and Kathy. Jay's smile was infectious, his sense of humor was a joy, and his love for Jesus shone from the life he lived and the love he so generously shared. We love and miss you, Jaybird, but your sudden untimely passing only makes us long for heaven all the more! Come Lord Jesus, and take us home to be reunited with those we love, and to live in your glorious presence forever.
