MARION, Va.

Ann Elizabeth Morris Scott, age 78, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va.

Ann was born in Smyth County, Va., to the late Clay Morris and Josephine Null Morris. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Ray Morris and her son-in-law, James Umbarger. She was a member of the Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church in Atkins.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James Ronald Scott; two daughters, Rhonda Umbarger, and Ann Marie Koger and husband, Michael; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Umbarger; and two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Emmie.

Private graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday November 6, 2021, at Resurrection Gardens in Atkins with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home is serving the Scott family.
