Ann Elizabeth Morris Scott, age 78 passed away Thursday November 4, 2021 at the Wythe County  Community Hospital in Wytheville, VA.


Ann was born in Smyth County, VA to then late Clay Morris and Josephine Null Morris and was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Ray Morris and her son in law, James Umbarger.  She was a member of the Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church in Atkins.


Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James Ronald Scott; two daughters Rhonda Umbarger, Ann Marie Koger and husband Michael; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Umbarger; two great grandchildren, Dalton and Emmie.


Private graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday November 6, 2021 at Resurrection Gardens in Atkins with Pastor Mike Sage officiating.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.  Bradley’s Funeral Home is serving the Scott family.

I can’t tell the family how sorry I am. I knew Ann from when I worked at Walmart. I was always happy to see her and her daughter come by the jewelry counter and chat with me.Going to miss her.My thoughts and prayers are with you.
