Hazel Slaughter Obituary
April 12, 1932 - January 2, 2021
Hazel Hicks Slaughter, age 88, of Blountville, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lula Cash Hicks; her husband, Mack Henry Slaughter; and her son, Ricky Lynn Slaughter.
Survivors included her adopted grandson and caregiver, Devin Neal; nephew, Bob Dune; niece, Kathy Sells, and other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021, in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Wright and Pastor Earnest Steffey officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
