Martha Ann Glover, age 76, of Bluff City, Tenn., left this life for her heavenly home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday, November 5, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on February 5, 1945, a daughter of the late Stewart Miller and Lucy Pauline Smelcer Miller, and she was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. She attended Village Baptist Church and also attended New Life Baptist. Martha enjoyed singing gospel music. She loved to embroider and used her embroidery talents making gifts for cancer patients and her friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie James Glover; grandson, Ricky Malone; and brothers, Carl, John, Fred and Bobby.
Surviving include her children, Tony Glover, Keith Glover and wife, Diana, Mark Glover and wife, Peggy, Jeff Glover, Amy Glover, and Ray Glover and wife, Connie; sisters, Evelyn Riley and Carolyn Kilgore; brothers, Jimmy, Danny and Ronnie; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Carty and Pastor Jimmy Miller officiating. Following the service, a procession will leave the funeral home traveling to East Tennessee Cemetery for the committal service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Weaver Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be members of her family.
