Patsy Cole Obituary

Patsy K. Cole

Miss Patsy K. Cole, 92, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Bristol, Tenn.

She was a lifelong resident of Bristol. She was a retired secretary/bookkeeper at Vance Junior High School, after 42 years of service. Patsy was a lifelong member of Anderson Street United Methodist Church. She served on several committees at the church as well as being a member of the hand bell choir and the church choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine Carnahan Cole and Raynor W. Cole; a twin sister, Peggy T. Cole; brother, Robert H. Cole; her aunt, Mrs. Reece Hutchings; and her nieces, Patricia Adamson and Barbara Mims.

Those left to cherish Patsy's memory include her nephew, Donald L. Cole, and his wife, Karen, and several great-nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends to share memories on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 6 p.m. until a Celebration of Patsy's life at 7 p.m. at Anderson Street United Methodist Church with Pastor Ray Amos and Pastor Barbara Doyle officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Glenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Anderson Street United Methodist Church, 954 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620.
