Anna June Baldwin

Anna June Baldwin, age 52, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Saturday (March 7, 2026) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born November 9, 1973 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of the Junior Baldwin and Brenda Compton Blankenship. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a 1991 graduate of Garden High School. She had formerly been employed at several area sewing factories, at the Dollar General in Lebanon, and had transported for Medicaid taxis. She was a member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She loved Winnie the Pooh and enjoyed reading her Bible, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with her dog.

She was preceded in death by husband, Alex Hess; her grandparents, Red and Janice Compton, Dewey and Eula Baldwin, and Geneva Baldwin; step-father, Johnny Blankenship; step-brother, Chris Blankenship; aunts, Joyce Blankenship, Wanda Helton, Teresa Peck, Sue Rasnake, and Becky Counts; and cousin, Tim Helton.

In addition to her parents, survivors include one son, Logan Brett Hess; five siblings, Lance Eldon Baldwin and wife, Sarah Beth, Travis Blankenship and wife, Candi, Jason Blankenship and wife, Jessica, Brian Blankenship and wife, Carolann, and Brittany Lowe; special friend, Adrian McAllister; special aunts, Lois Ann Whited and Sharon Helton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Troy Street officiating. Interment will follow in the Frank Smith Cemetery on Big A Mountain, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Donald Baldwin, Jason Thomas, Stevie Thomas, Travis Blankenship, Eldon Blankenship, and Bryson Blankenship.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brittany Lowe.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
