Aaron Copher Obituary

Aaron Price Copher, 30 of Sherman was delivered back into the arms of God on Sept. 9, 2010.
Aaron was born on Dec. 29, 1979 in Fayetteville, Ark. He moved back to Sherman at a young age and then lived in Perth, Western Australia for several years with his mother before returning to Sherman in 1987 where he remained until his death.
Aaron graduated from Sherman High School with honors in 1997. He was highly intelligent and had a wonderful sense of humor and was a recent student of Grayson County College. Aaron was an avid learner and reader and spent his short life enjoying computers, camping, hunting, archery, and music.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Pickens, Betty Pickens, James Copher and Joy Bell. He is survived by his parents, James and Ruth Ann Copher of Atlanta; Cyndi and Chuck Menton of Sherman, sisters Elena and Jamie, brothers Eamon and Robert, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Sherman at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14. Honorary pallbearers are Taylor Bush, Eamon Copher, Joe Menton and Jeff Remshardt. A family visitation will be held at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman on Monday, Sept. 13th from 6 -8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 401 S. Crocket, Sherman, TX 75090 or to a charity of your choice.

James I am so so sorry for the loss of your son Aaron. I pray for God to wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you and your family as only he can do. There is not a greater loss than your children, this I do know. Be strong, have faith and when you think you dont have any more, God will pick you up and move you forward. He is our strength, he is our salvation. And one Great day we will all be together again. We love you and Eamon, yall are always in our thoughts and in our prayers.
