Son - my brave hero - standing tall through it all. Not to ask why or to place any blame, you weathered life's challenges. You said Christ took the Licks on his back for us that you would take the Licks as your gift to God and so you did as a true warrior would. You had such strength and courage.
Your friends thanked me for having you for they had a most special friend in you. They said it was a blessing and a privilege to have known you and that your courage and strength had touched them all. Muscular Dystrophy claimed your body in the end, but you never let it claim your spirit. You are now soaring with God.

God gave me my greatest gift on August 18, 1973 when HE gave you to me. God and his angels reclaimed you on July 24, 2010. The 36 years we journeyed this earth as mother and son, I've known no greater love. You taught me unconditional love and you gave my life meaning and depth. I tried desperately to find a cure for your failing body, while all the time you were curing my soul. In the end, paralysis set in. You could barely speak, hear or see yet you managed to ask me to hug you and you would say "Don't cry mom, I love you, no regrets!" Your final wish to us was for us to be happy and that we all would be meaningful to each other.
"In the end my beloved son, your cure did come." God has taken you home and made you whole. In God's house it will be a blink of an eye till we see each other again. Till then son, I rest knowing you are in God's hands.

Memorial services for Eric Shaun Feuerborn, 36, of Sherman, who passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Carrus Specialty Hospita,l will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday July 31, 2010 at Sherman Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mack Rogers officiating. The family will be at the church at 1:30 p.m. Services are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Frances Feuerborn and his father, Robert W. Feuerhorn. He is survived by his mother, Antonia "Toni" E. Paine Hanna; grandparents, Edward L. Paine Sr. and Antonia M. Paine; uncle, Edward L. Paine Jr. and wife Dixie Lee, and their children, Trey Paine, Ashlee Ball and her two children Kaydence and Cason Ball; aunt, Mary Ann Wright and husband Scott Wright all of Sherman; cousins, Thomas, Travis and Chris Feuerborn of Oklahoma and many friends.

Eric, you were one of the main ingredients in your families recipe for life. One of the links that was needed in the chain. Your link has been broken away at this time. Our hearts have been broken at the same time. But by the grace and strength that passes all understanding we are sustained because of the promises of God and the gift that was given that day on the hill called, "Calvary". Because of your acknowledgement by confession of your belief in Jesus we know that we will meet again. Until then, tell Shane, Mom and Dad that I love them. I miss you sweetheart.
