Jackie Wilson Obituary

POTTSBORO - Jackie Lane Wilson, 65, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his home in Pottsboro.

Per his wishes, he was cremated and no services are planned.

Jackie was born on March 31, 1951 in Pottsboro, the son of Vurlas Lane and Margie M. Roy Wilson. He was a graduate of Pottsboro High School and got a degree in auto repair from Grayson County College and received electronic training in Oklahoma City. He served in the United States Army as a mechanic working on tanks. He was an auto parts machinist at Dino's Garage, farmer, rancher and caregiver for his parents. Jackie was a member of AMA radio controlled airplanes and the Mirick Avenue Church of Christ in Denison.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vurlas Wilson of Pottsboro; sister, Connie M. Strattman of Pottsboro and two nieces.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
