My condolences to Jackie's family. She was a true delight. Jackie and my mother, Clara became close friends at Regency Park, the assisted living facility where they both lived in Pasadena. They, along with another Regency resident, Laura Butler, became inseparable at meals and were frequently seen together at various activities including "chair aerobics". It was so terrific to see the bond that developed between them and how much they helped each other. We're going to miss Jackie's wit and wisdom and her welcoming "hellos" whenever we would see her. Jackie, you were a real gem and we're so grateful that we got to know you.

I am so sorry to hear about this. She was a very super sweet lady that I am glad I got to know over the years. I met her through my parents on one of our many Tuesday breakfast gatherings at Nicks. She and Joe both supported me when I served as President for the Denison Alumni Association. She will be greatly missed by so many.
