Our beloved sister, JoAnn Fisher Pyron, 77, went peacefully home to be with our Lord Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Crawford Street Place in Denison.
JoAnn was born September 30, 1939 in Denison, Texas the daughter of Ernest Elbert and Doris (Mosley) Fisher. She was raised in Denison with her four siblings. She graduated from Denison High School. JoAnn retired after working 30 years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. JoAnn was a beautiful, loving person who would always listen and find the absolute best in any trying situation. She was a fighter, with a gleam in her eye and a fire in her heart. Her great joys in life were her beloved family and dear friends. All of her love was poured out on to her family with cooking, shopping and arts and crafts. She loved Christmas and family gatherings. JoAnn was always there for her family and extended family. Although her passing leaves a void in all of our lives she will live on forever in our hearts.
JoAnn leaves behind her beloved family, brother, Eddie Fisher and wife, Vannah of Denison, TX; brother, Harold Fisher and wife, Susan of Denison, TX; sister, Cathy Saunders and husband, Steve of Fort Worth, TX, and sister, Candy Allen and husband, Johnny of Denison, TX; niece, Marla Pollaro and husband, Joe of Denison, TX, nephews, Jason Fisher of Denison, TX; Mark Fisher of Denison, TX, Matt Saunders of Alpharetta, GA ,Luke Saunders and fiancé, Kim Novak of Dallas, TX and Luke Killough of Denison, TX; nieces, Amy Allen of Denison, TX, Brooke Saunders and husband, Kevin of Benbrook, TX, Katie Allen of Chicago, IL, Abby Allen of Denton, TX and Neeley Donowho and husband, Keith of Lewisville, TX; great nieces and nephews, Matt Barnhill of Sherman, TX and Chance Barnhill and wife, Ashley of Melissa, TX, Madeline Fisher, Logan Fisher Maddox Fisher and Lincoln Fisher all of Denison, TX; great-great nieces and nephew, Piper, Cash and Carolina Barnhill. She was preceded in death by her parents, E. E. and Doris Fisher.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating. Private family interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Fisher Funeral Home.
The family wants to thank the owners and staff of Crawford Street Place and Guardian Hospice especially nurses, Christy and Ellen for all their love and tender care of our beloved sister. You are truly angels on earth.
