Sherman - Michael "Craig" Vessels, age 60 passed away on May 13, 2021 in Sherman, Texas. He was born on June 20, 1960 in Sherman, Texas to Carl Wayne Vessels and Sue (Scoggins) Vessels.
Craig loved his kids, grandkids and proudly displayed a house full of pictures. He also loved wood working of which he made wood chests for his grandkids. He also made tables and was talented at working with his hands. Craig was fondly called Grandpa Craig by his grandchildren and was also a loving son to his mother.
Craig is survived by: Sons, Brandon Vessels and (Cathy) of Whitesboro, Texas, Chad Vessels and (Beth) of Whitesboro, Texas; Daughter, Jessica Boren and (Justin) of Whitesboro, Texas; Mother, Sue Stephens and husband Larry of Sherman, Texas; Brother, Lynn Vessels and wife, Kim of Sherman, Texas; Sister, Karla Vessels of Sherman, Texas; Step mom, Linda Vessels of Sherman, Texas; Grandchildren, Zach, Hunter, Haylee, Ryan, Kate, Cody, Ryley, Cason and Hayden.
Preceded in Death: Father, Carl Wayne Vessels, Grandparents, Raymond and Ruby Scoggins and Carl and Hazel Lee Vessels.
Visitation Monday, May 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 10:00 am also at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro followed by interment at Tioga Cemetery. Rev. Rick Carney will be officiating
