Peggy Coble Obituary
Mrs. Coble was born Feb. 20, 1924 in Sherman, the daughter of Robert Alec and Beatrice Elton (Norman) Johns.
She attended Denison schools for six years then moved to Colbert, Okla., and graduated in 1941. Peggy played basketball for three years at Colbert High School. Peggy married Clifton Coble Sr. in May 1941 in Durant, Okla. She retired from Johnson & Johnson after 21 years of service. Peggy enjoyed quilting, reading, playing baseball and bingo. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Coble is survived by her daughter, Patricia Coble Spradlin and husband, Virgil of Denison; daughter, Benita Coble Hutto and husband, Jim of Milano; son, Wayne Edward Coble and wife, Renee of Colorado and son, Tommy Ward Coble and wife, Lorea of Denison; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Ray Johns of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Paulette Coble of Colbert, Okla. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beatrice Johns; husband, Clifton Coble Sr.; son, Clifton Coble Jr.; sister, Anne Laura Johns-Key; and brother, Robert Alec Johns Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. There is no set time for family visitation.

I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. We always enjoyed visiting with her and her brother Robert at our JOHN family reunions. She was a wonderful person and will be truly missed. We were all blessed by her presence on Earth.
