Ronald Tol Obituary

POTTSBORO - Ronald "Ronnie" Tol, 29, our beloved son went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 29, 2017. We will miss his beautiful smile, generosity and gentle spirit. He loved spending time at the lake, boating, playing guitar, working out and playing with his little nieces. He loved Oma's cooking and hanging out with family. He graduated from Allen High School and pursued his education at the University of North Texas. He worked alongside his father at their business, Red River Glass. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Now our hearts are breaking, but we know that we will see him again in heaven.
Ronnie is survived by his parents, Ron and Cathy Tol; his brother and sister-in-law Ryan and Toni Tol; two nieces, Autumn and Bella; grandparents, Mattheus and Maria Tol and Casimir and Minta Tencza; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel in Pottsboro, TX. Graveside funeral service will be Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. Father Stephen Mocio will officiate.

Ron and Cathy,

We are so, so sorry for your loss. There just aren't any words. I will always remember Ronnie's smiling face and his soft-spoken voice. He was always so sweet to us, no matter what kind of day he might be having. He carried an air of excitement about him. I can hear him say "yeah, yeah" when he would talk to us. I started calling him ya ya because of that. He never failed to hug me on his way out the door. He was a sweet young man. We are keeping you both in our thoughts and prayers and praying that your receive grace during this time.

Ronnie and I grew up on the same street, were in the same grade, and shared the same friends. I realized very quickly that wherever Ronnie went fun, happiness, and laughter followed. I've never met anyone that projected such a strong, positive influence on people and their surroundings like Ronnie seemed to be able to do effortlessly. I was always envious of that ability. I am truly a better person for the time we spent and the memories we made together.

He was more than my cousin he was and will always be my best friend. I will miss him more than words can express. I will always cherish the memories we had together. I will miss his smile, his laugh and how good of a listener he was, our talks we had, pranks we did. I know he will be with me no matter where I go. Love u cousin, Paulena
