Sharon Luker Obituary

SHERMAN - Sharon Luker, 50, of Sherman went home to be with The Lord Monday, July 1, 2013 at Wilson N Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

She was preceded in death by her mother Wynell (Nell) Cash Hyde.

A memorial celebrating her life will be held at 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Lone Star Lanes in Sherman.

Sharon and I started first grade together at Boaz Elementary and then were in numerous classes together until we graduated in 1981. She always smiled, never got into trouble, and always talked about how much she loved her Uncle Beecher. Since we grew up together and shared wonderful times, a small piece of me died when I heard this sad news. You are now reunited with your sweet mother and our BHS Class of 1981 classmates and friends, Kim Darnell and Jeannine Gillespie.

We didn't know Sharon well but she made Jimmy very happy. That is enough for us.
May the Lord watch over her and keep her in his graces.

To face the sun and listen to the ocean.
To smell the salt air and feel the cool
waves upon your feet.
These are the memories I hold of Sharon and know she now has the peace everlasting, she felt those days we spent at the beach.

Sharon, you were ALWAYS so smart and kind-hearted! It's hard to lose classmates and people we grew up knowing but it's especially hard to leave family and loved ones behind. I pray God will comfort them all during this painful time......the loss of their precious Sharon!
