Dearest Peppers Family
Losing a child is the roughest road to travel that I know but you will eventually find a special place to put him and keep him close to your heart at the same time. This emptiness and the sorrow that you feel now will fade away and become a silent feeling that once in awhile you let surface and have a quiet cry over and don't be afraid to let it all out. He was your son, your first born and nothing can ever replace that so hold his memories close to you and you'll find that comfort that you so desperately need right now...all of the good times and great feelings you had for this child they will stay the course with you and give you strength. We wish there was some magical power we could shed over you to make it all go away but there's just friends, family and most of all God's love to help you on your road that you must travel. Call us anytime to talk, we love you so much and we are there beside you in spirit. We will continue to pray for you and ask that God would silence the bad thoughts and filll your emptiness with joy. As ever by your sides....Terry & Linda

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I remember many special memories with Peppy and his family. He was like a brother to me. I know my dad Bones Bassett and Peppy are looking down at us and smiling, talking about the many times of working on the railroad, staying up half the night working on projects, and my dad saying just one more. Boys cont. to stay in touch.
