Thelbert Snead Obituary

BONHAM - Graveside funeral services for Thelbert Wayne Snead age 78 of Bonham, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday Feb. 8, 2013 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, with Bro. Cody Nelson officiating. Mr. Snead passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Mr. Snead was born April 30, 1934 in the Oakland Community the son of John Irving and Eula Mae (Allen) Snead. Mr. Snead served in the U.S. Army and retired from the City of Dallas Fire Department in 1988 after 28 years of service.

Mr. Snead is survived by two daughters: Julie Moore and Robin Terry both of Bonham; three grandchildren: Michael Wayne Snead, Jacob Moore, and Adam Moore; two brothers: John Snead and wife Tomma Jean of Bonham, Shelton Snead and wife Ruby Lee of Arkansas; and one sister: Eula Dean Hutchinson of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Family visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
