SHERMAN - On Tuesday, July 10, 2012 God called one of his precious angels home, Wana Monday, 55, she was surrounded by her loving family at Medical Center of Plano.

Wana was an excellent accountant and enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed working on crafts and reading. But her family always came first. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Wana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She touched many the lives of many people with her smile, her generosity, and her unending zest for live and sense of humor. We will all miss her laugh, her face and her desire to find the absolute best in any trying situation. She will always be remembered in our hearts.

Wana is survived by her beloved family, husband, Jim Monday of Sherman; sons, Chad Monday and wife, Cindy of Denison, and Mathew Monday of Sherman; grandchildren, Ricky "Tigger" Monday, Miranda Monday, Sydney Monday, Elizabeth Monday, Willy Monday, Alex Monday, McKenna Monday, Nathan Monday, Mykayla Monday and Jeremy Monday; sister, Isabelle Lassiter and husband, James of Sherman; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
