Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

All was a beloved member of the Everett Senior Center Creative Writing Group. His life adventures kept us so entertained and amazed. What a delight to have heard his stories and to have known this gentle person.

Dear Marilyn, Sig and family,
It is never easy to lose a parent and my heart goes out to your entire family in this time of sorrow.
I remember your dad and mom with the greatest respect. Oh, the many memories I have of their wonderful home and how I enjoyed being there. We had so many good times during our high school years and beyond.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Oh Uncle Al and Aunt Mimi are in my heart always. Such kind and vibrant souls. I remember many visits and 4th of July's. First thing Uncle Al would do at the lake is go for a long swim. My heart is with you all on behalf of the Hope family. Joelle Henry (Hope)

My 95-year-old father, Benjamin Westmoreland (attorney), remembers Albert very well. They occasionally had coffee together. Dad had great professional respect for Albert, particularly for his complete honesty, a trait my father values greatly. So sorry for your loss, Jim. We've come a long way from those days at Whittier! See you at our 50th high school reunion.

I knew Al through Temple Beth Or where he was a member for many years. May his family be comforted by the memories shared of a life very well lived.

I did not know Al well but had met him several times at Temple Beth Or. I am happy he was with his family in his later years. May his memory always be a blessing.
