I am so sorry to hear of Alice's passing, I played table tennis with her for quite a few years and since I have not been able to play I lost contact and so did not know, I'm so sorry, I would have been to her services. She was a fun person to be around and a good sport.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Ivan and Joan. The pictures and video of Alice and family on the funeral home website are very emotional to see. They bring back so many memories. Sending my love to you.

With a heavy heart I say goodby to my big sister Alice. Over the last few years and many phone calls to cheer each other up we grew very close to each other.I hope I brought a smile to her as she did to me.with a tear in my eye I say good by for now till we meet again in the hearafter.

Ivan, it's hard to say goodbye to a parent, especially your mom. Memories you hadn't thought of in years will wonder through your mind. Your mom was a fun & loving aunt to me. She laughed with us as kids & as adults. She always wanted to know how our lives were going. And was truly interested in what we were doing. At a reunion one year, she told me, she loved my strawberry rhubarb pie, said it was her favorite. And I have to grin thinking of her & I at uncle Omar's sale bidding against one another over a statue. She won the bid & took that statue home but several years later, she gave it to me. I think of her with fond memories when I dust it. I won't be able to be at the services, so I will say my goodbyes to her from here, but know you are in my thoughts.

Your Mom was a beautiful lady. I always remember her visiting, she was so fun and kind. You are my thoughts and prayers. It seems so strange, she was way to young to be joining Mom and the rest of the brothers and sisters.
