Anita Elmer Obituary

Anita (Annie) Marie Elmer, 75, left this world to join her Lord and Savior on September 6th, 2021 in Everett, WA.

Annie was born on August 6th, 1946 in Downey, California where her love for the ocean beaches began. As the baby of the family, she was incredibly stubborn but never failed to put others before herself. She was happiest spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She was a devout Catholic at her Parrish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, that she also enjoyed volunteering at.

Annie is welcomed to heaven by her parents Rudolph & Carmen Muravez as well as her oldest brother Jim Muravez.

She leaves behind her children with Philip Elmer, Alan and Tammy Elmer, Michael and Lynn Elmer, David Elmer, Daniel Elmer, and Christina and Jeremiah Framstad. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Erica Addonizio (Cameron, Conner, and Carter), Jessica Leinen (Jameson and Alice), Austen Woodward, Kimberly Wagner (Troy), Ashley Perry (Greyson), Taylar Perry (Aleigha) and Logan Framstad. Her siblings Marlene Greene, Rudolph Muravez II, Francis Foutz. Countless nieces, nephews and cousins. As well as her best friend Fede Chavez.

A funeral mass for Annie will be held on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2619 Cedar St, Everett, WA 98201, presided by Father Joseph with burial services to be followed at 2:30 pm at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, 205 NE 205th ST, Shoreline, WA 98155. Reception to follow. Masks will be required at services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Annie's Parrish. A Venmo has been set up for donations towards funeral costs @AnitaElmer-memorial in care of Christina Framstad.

Even though it's been over 20 years since I last saw Annie, I still remember her now, and with much fondness. Annie was a sweet, loving person. I don't think words have yet been formed that would adequately convey the depth of love she had for her family. I was a teenager when Annie met me, and I came from a loving yet very troubled home. Annie always, always made me feel welcomed, wanted, and included as a part of her family. I remember how much I loved and admired her hair, lol. It was so beautiful, thick and curly. But more than that, it was her capacity for showing love to a young girl who wasn't hers, but who needed a mom figure in her life. I have no idea how I came across this page to learn that Annie left us for Heaven. I can still see her district smile and the glint she would get in her eye when something was amusing to her. I imagine she's looking upon me now that way. Thank you for being a second mom to me, Annie... I will never forget you. My deepest heartfelt condolences to her family.

Anne, you were a beautiful, faith-filled servant of our dear Lord and Savior. My love and prayers are with your family. I thank you for your son, Alan, as also my son-in-law, who makes our family complete. We are blessed. You will be dearly missed by so many, Anne. I'm so sad you left us too soon, but know you are now at total peace in the arms of Jesus. May you now rest peacefully in His arms. God has another Angel in Heaven ... You with that beautiful smile watching over your loved ones.
