Beatrice Bebich Obituary

Bea, age 92, took her final voyage on March 31, 2014 to meet the lord, her husband, Ray; her mom, Peggy; her dad, Howard and many of her family and wonderful friends. Bea was born on July 31, 1921 to Peggy and Howard Mcelhoe in Puyallup, Washington. Bea attended the Everett schools and graduated from Everett High School. She was an only child and was the apple of her parent's eye. She started dance classes early as a little child of three, she was quite good. It was at USO dance in Everett, WA, that she met the love of her life, Raymond Bebich. For many years they would go to the Elks hall and dance on Saturday nights. We used to call them, Yolanda and Valdez, after a beautiful professional dance couple, they were that good. Bea and Ray were married on August 27, 1943 in Everett at the Delta Chapel. They had five children, two sets of twins plus one. Bea worked as a bookkeeper for D.A. Duryee and then for our father at his T.V. and Antenna Services Co. With five children to raise it was very important to our mother that we grow up to be good, solid and respectful adults. She was a Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader and Cub Scout leader before deciding to work full time. She taught us girls to sew and knit at eight years of life, had us in dance class and anything else that would keep us busy and out of trouble. In her later years, Bea resided with her son Randy in Lake Stevens, WA. She loved to work in her garden and she was an avid walker. She competed in a number of road races. Bea leaves her children, Peggy Amenta(Jerry), Tonee Bertalaln(Philip), John Bebich, Randy Bebich and Mitzi Bierman(Dan); five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bea was preceded in death be her husband, Ray; her mother, Peggy Allyn; her father, Howard Mcelhoe and step father, Harvey Allyn. Graveside servies will be hild on April 25, at 2:00 P.M. at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. 1615 S.E. Everett Mall Way.

Randy, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I will always remember her for her smile, little small blackberries, and her winning the Aquafest run. She was a great lady and will be missed.
