I first met Billy during the summer of 1967 at Castle Air Force Base in California. He had just gotten back from Thailand. I liked him, I liked working with him and respected how good he was at doing his job. We worked together for a few months then I left to go to Thailand, wish I would have had enough sense to keep in touch.
Bye Billy.

Thank you for the years we've shared. I could add pages of "if only", but there's no sense in that now. I am only glad that I was given the gift of time these past few precious months to renew our friendship. May your new adventure be a grant one, you have fought a great battle, but God did not want you to suffer any longer and felt it right to take you. Your memory will live on forever in your children, grandchildren and the many people that love you. You will be missed, but there is some comfort knowing that you are at peace now.

Billy has been in my thoughts since I last talk to him. He talk of God and the feels for his family. Billy and I grew up together. We moved when I was a teenager. I remember many things we did and things we should not have did. He is how in Gods hands and pain free. My prayers are with his family. Joan Goranson (cousin) Bemidji, MN

Bill, you are the dad I was so lucky to have in my life. Maybe not biological, but you were the father figure that shaped me- teaching me right and wrong and that life is to love and learn about. You brought so many smiles and laughter to our childhood. Your constant eager interest in life I will forever admire. I cherish all the times I got to hang with you in the kitchen and watch you cook... along with so many other great, great memories. I will always think of you and push myself to love and live life just as you did. Wishing you peace and to know you are loved.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with family and friends during this difficult time. Billy will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him best. I concur with the wish stated in the paper of the new adventure being bigger than anyone can imagine. So be it...

Billy was my first lead in mock-up at Boeing. First guy to actually teach me something about working on airplanes. Great positive attitude and a true gentleman. I was sad to see him leave the organization, but knew it was what he wanted to do. Saw him rarely over the years, but he always remembered me. I am saddened by his passing. My condolences to the family and friends. May you find peace in your memories and healing as time passes.

Bill, I shot my first deer with you, caught my first salmon with you and you taught me many things that I still hold near about being a man. We had our run ins as do most young men finder their ways but I respect and will always be proud of the things you have taught me. I will always remember how your eyes would lite up, your laugh and how independent you were. I am a very lucky person to have known you. I know we have not been in touch after the years but you have always been in my thoughts and in my heart. I loved our hunting trips and when you taught me the difference of a .44 mag and a .22 hand gun. :)
Love and miss you Bill. You will not be missed.....

I will never forget your dad. I feel very fortunate to have had such a wonderful step dad growing up. He was a very special person who has had a major impact on my life and who I am today. He taught me to believe in myself and that anything could be accomplished with determination. I love him and wish him peace and happiness on his next journey. ~Chrissi
