Brian Dinkel Obituary

May 15, 1957-December 18, 2017 Brian Kent Dinkel, born May 15, 1957 in San Francisco, CA, passed away in his home on December 18, 2017. Brian worked at the Boeing Company for over 30 years. He will be missed by everyone who touched his life, his big heart and smile, along with a great sense of humor, that made everyone laugh. Brian was a music enthusiast and loved playing his guitars. He started playing very early on in his youth and had a perfect ear for music. He loved to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with everyone he knew. He formed his first band in junior high with his best neighborhood buddies, Bill, Rick and Mike. Brian also played in many rock bands locally with friends and co-workers, 'til the end. Brian and Nina loved the Grateful Dead band and spent many vacations following the band throughout the country, creating many once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memories. His love for animals and the outdoors is a fond memory we all share. Brian is survived by his wife, Nina; parents, Stan and Eloise, brother, David (Debbie); and sister, Terri. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, February 17, 2018, 2:00-9:00 p.m. at Vincent School House, 8010 W Snoqualmie Valley Road NE, Carnation, WA 98014. All who knew him are welcome.

I just heard of Brians passing and I am sure there is a huge void in his family's lives. He was a big personality in the late 70's for sure!
Wanted to share a couple memories.
Juanita high school lunch time consisted of us (Chris ,Brian, Sue, Kathleen, myself and sometimes Rick) with sack lunches in hand, Hopping into Chris's black Rivera, And heading up to Kingsgate to watch "Get smart" while dining on PB and J's.
I don't know how many people know this, But, Brian could make his arms (elbows) bend backwards (slightly) And would entertain us once in a while with this trick...all the girls responding with "EWWWWWWW"and of course laughter. I also think he may have had the prettiest and longest hair in the neighborhood! Bill running a close second. Rest in Peace Brian

I worked with Brian here at Boeing. It was a real tragedy to hear of his passing. He was always sharp, fun, and funny to be around and will certainly be missed.

Brian was one of the nicest people I have ever known! He was a Super knowledgeable co-worker with a Great Attitude! As a personal friend, you could not have found better; He was caring, funny, entertaining, thoughtful and had a love for Nina that made them the Soul Couple that they were. RIP Brian ~ I will miss you

Some of most enjoyable times I had at Boeing, were the days I spent with Brian. Brian's warm smile and leadership made everyone's day better, a one in a million person, I will never forget.
