Brice Supler Obituary

Brice Gilmor Supler

Brice was born February 12, 1918 in Triadelphia, West Virginia. He passed away with his wife and children by his side on September 10, 2012 at Cristwood in Shoreline, Washington.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 66 years, Ferne; daughters, Colleen Abrams, Diana (Mike) Supler-Varner; son, Jan (Laura Burns); and grandchildren, Julene (Don) May, Brad (Joanie) Abrams, Jason Varner, Jady (Bryan Fenster) Varner, and Maxfield Supler.
Brice graduated in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1941. He then served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. After his service time, he had a long professional career as a chemist in the paint industry starting in Pittsburg, PA until his retirement in Seattle in 1983.
He led a wonderful life with dedication to church and family. He was active for many years in the Highline Christian Church and Mountlake Terrace Christian Church. Brice was a founding member of the Highline YMCA and a leader in both the Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts, a member of the Edmonds Masonic Lodge and the Checkerboard Squares Square Dance Club.
A memorial service was held at Cristwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Good Samaritan Fund at Cristwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 19303 Fremont Ave No., Shoreline, WA 98133; or Mountlake Terrace Christian Church at 5304 232nd St SW, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.
