Cal Covert Obituary

1960 - 2022

Son, born to Bob and Joyce Covert in Everett WA on February 24th, 1960. Beloved brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, dad, and friend. Cal worked at Covert's pharmacy in Everett with his parents for several years. Enjoyed playing basketball (at O'd's!), music, and spending time at the family's beach cabin on Whidbey Island. He loved to snow ski, water ski, to go fishing and to make us all laugh! At his last long-term residence, he was known as "The King" of Delta for his ability to make everyone's days a bit brighter.

Cal leaves sisters Alison Covert, Kerry Covert Graham (Dryden Fox Graham, nephew), Brother-in-Law and best friend, Scott Reynolds (Kerry's husband), sons Michael Covert, Kalen Covert, daughter Nicole Berg (3 grandchildren), Aileen Covert (Goetz), as well as his many Covert and Bayne family members. He had a talent for writing and dreamed of writing a book to tell of his adventures, discontents, and dreams. He passed unexpectedly before he woke on February 21st, 2022. Godspeed brother.

Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
