Chauncey Jones Obituary

Chauncey Wales Jones&bb&Chauncey Wales Jones, born May 23, 1980, died February 28, 2001, losing his four-month battle with leukemia.&pe&Chauncey was born in Seattle, Wash. and raised in Mountlake Terrace, Wash. He was a Junior at the University of Washington and graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School. He was employed at Black Angus in Lynnwood. Chauncey was a very active person and had a love for athletics and the outdoors. He will be remembered as having a courageous and dynamic spirit, which he shared with the many people whose lives he touched. &pe&He is survived and greatly loved by his parents Roger Jones and Grace Carlsen-Jones; sister Carrie Jones (Jay Day), and nephews-to-be Tanner and Jackson; sister Molly Schauer (Scott Schauer) and niece Cameron Schauer; grandfather Casey Jones; girlfriend Lauren Eagle; aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends; including his best friend Kurt Zehrung and family.&pe&A memorial service will be held Monday, March 12, 2001 at 7 p.m. at the Edmonds Floral Conference Center, 201 4th Ave. North, Edmonds, Wash. Inurnment at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, Wash. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Mountlake Terrace High School Baseball Booster Club, MTYAA, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or the Puget Sound Blood Center.
