Chloe K. (Duce) Waters

Chloe K. (Duce) Waters, age 79, of Marysville, WA, born February 22, 1924, passed away July 28, 2003.
She is survived by her husband Fred W. Waters; sons, Stanley and Diana, and Steven and Pauline of Marysville; daughters, Kathleen and Ben Heezen of Lynden, Diane and Howard Green of Sedro Woolley; one sister Katherine Wood; 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Myrna Duce; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Chloe was preceded in death by her son Alan Waters.
Chloe was born in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Thomas William and Fannie Duce. She moved to Everett in 1932. Chloe was married to Fred Waters July 23, 1946 and they were married 57 years. Chloe loved to write stories, which were a delight to her family. She even had one published called, "The old woman who lives with me". Besides her writing her other joy was her family and friends. She was a member and temple worker for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 51st and 92nd streets in Marysville.

You are dearly missed. I think of you often and treasure the many memories which stemmed from various conversations we had from my adolescent years up into adulthood. May you rest in peace and may your family still receive the comfort needed to bear your loss.
