I was doing a little cleaning and came upon a picture of Chris when he was 7. His smile brightened up my heart and then it went sad again remembering he isn't here with us anymore. He will always be in our hearts and prayers as the time goes by. I am so grateful for the pictures and and the few memories I have of a truely wonderful young man. I love you forever and always...

Even though I only saw Chris a few times I was always impressed on what a nice, well mannered young man he was. I especially remember him carrying Matthew around on his hip. Chris seemed too small to carry such a heavy nephew! Chris playing cars with his nephew is a memory too. A real sweet guy who was here too short a time. He is missed by his family and friends. I have to say that I am truly saddened for the family members who have lost a loved one. It is never easy. I knew Chris when we were little kids, my aunt and Karell were very good friends. I didn't get to know Chris as he grew into an adult but from what I hear he was a good kid and an even better man. I regret that I couldn't get to know him better. He will be missed and we all shall meet again. My love and my condolences go out to the family.

For Louise and the rest of the "Taylor" clan, I was deeply saddened when I saw you on the news at the memorial service for Chris, I hadn't seen him since he was small. I haven't seen much of you since my mom, Carol Larson, passed away, but I think of you fondly and my heart is breaking for you in these dark hours. Please know that my love and thoughts are never far away, and perhaps we can see each other soon.
All my love,
Kelly Marie (Larson) Polus and family.

I'm so sorry to the family of Chris and to all his friends. I know it's so hard right now. I went to school with Chris when I was in middle school and became friends with him, and stayed friends with him ever since. When he moved up to Washington I lost touch of him for a while and only saw him the couple times he came down to visit. It hurts me that I couldn't have spent more time with him. He was such an amazing person and when I found out what happened I was so mad, because Chris not in the slightest bit deserved that. He had so much going for him in his life and he was such an amazing person, and it just kills me that he's no longer here.
I just hope he knows that he was very much loved and he'll be in our hearts. And I hope he knows what a great person he was and he will be missed.
Rest in Peace Chris...We all miss you and we all love you...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Unfortunatly I didn't get to know Chris as the young man he is, I did know him when he was a little rugrat. He would always follow his brother Nate and myself around the apartment complex on his "Big Wheel". To Chris: Your life here on this rock was too short, but I know that you are with your creator. This is just a short time apart we will have until God calls me to be with him. We will meet again. To the Family: My condolences. We all will miss Chris, but remember life on earth is short but we all have eternal life "...My life is no longer that the width of my hand. An entire lifetime is just a moment to you; human existence is but a breath." -Psalm 39:4-5 NLT

Well I just wanted to say that I am vey sorry for your family's loss. Chris was a great kid and fun to be around. He had a good head on his shoulders and loved to make people laugh.
When I was talking to Matthew about all of this he was asking me if I remembered the winter of 2002 (I think it was 2002 because Matthew was 2 1/2 at the time) and Chris was over at our house and there was so much snow outside. Well Nate, Chris & Nicasio went outside and bulit a snow man and had a snowball fight with each other. Well these kids down stairs wrecked Matthew's snowman that he helped them build and was very upset about it. And Chris told him to wait a bit because the other kids were building a snowman as well. And after they were done Chris took Matthew downstairs and together they ran up and knocked it down & Matthew's smile was priceless. Chris was very good with Matthew (all kids). He will be missed alot. But I am glad that we have this memory and many other memories as well to hang on to to remember him by. We love you Chris and you will always be remembered by your family & friends!!
Love,
Kerrie, Matthew & Brenden
