Jamie and Nancy, Your mother was one of my heroes at the Stillaguamish Athletic Club. She and I loved getting into that hot tub and chatting about anything or nothing. She had wonderful stories and she loved you, your children and grandchildren so much. Know she was cared about and appreciated to the end. I will miss her very much. Take good care of each other.

Dear Nancy and All of Colleen's Family,

Colleen and Jim were such great neighbors when we all lived at Priest Point. I especially liked our 8 a.m. walks; Colleen was so much fun and had lots of funny stories. They had some wonderful neighborhood parties at their house.

She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Dear Colleen's family,
All of us who worked out at the Stilly Athletic Club loved Colleen. She was so bright and funny. She warmed us with good stories in the hot tub. She always wore the most beautiful earrings in the pool! We have missed her these past months and will never forget her. She inspired all of us.

Dear Nancy, Jamie,and families,
Gosh I don't know where to start. Colleen and Jimmy were so important to me while I was growing up. I had a mad crush on Jimmy, but absolutely loved Colleen at the same time. Pal and Ada were pretty special, too. I'll never forget Jimmy talking about a "dayyynnncce" we might have on the floor of the new house they were building at Priest Point. We made such fun of him and that Alabama accent. I'll never forget the first time Colleen asked me to come with you to see a movie. I said it was a nice invite, but my mother probably wouldn't want me to go. Much to my surprise,Colleen had already asked my mom. I had no choice, I had to go, and I had a great time. My automatic out was destroyed, and I discovered how wonderful it can be to go outside your comfort zone. Your parents expanded my life, I will be forever grateful. But, the best thing Colleen ever did was call me one day to come pick up the crib I had leant her for Jessie. We went down to get it, and she had a very small puppy. Neither of you wanted him and she had been unsuccessful in finding his owner. She put him in my arms, and I said, "well, I don't like short hair dogs, and I don't like wiener dogs, and....", as I looked down at this flea ridden puppy who was totally asleep, laying in my arms, I realized, I was in love. A couple of hours later, Colleen delivered him, freshly flea dipped, a bag of puppy chow and a bright red bow. That was my Stubby, the best dog ever, who was with us for almost 18 years. I never think of Stubby without thinking of Colleen, I also never think of Colleen without thinking of Stubby. Your mom was a treasure, I am so glad that she was part of my life. Eerily, Jerry and i just had a conversation about her, and we said we need to figure out how to contact her. That was Saturday, the day she died. I wish that had been sooner. Your mom was so special. But please know she, and Jimmy, will live forever in my heart.

Dear Colleen 's family,
Colleen was a member of our 9:00 Aqua classes at Stillaqumish Athletic Club. She was so much fun and enjoyed those classes, there was alot of laughter around her. I really enjoyed getting to know her and her family history. She was an amazing and fun friend with a great sense of humor. She will be missed.

Colleen,
It was a pleasure knowing you all these years, sweating in the Stilly Athletic club, and enjoying water aerobics. Farewell, and rest in peace.
