Deborah Dietz Obituary
Deborah Jean Dietz (Huseby)
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, nana and aunt. She loved spending time with her family and hosting holidays. Her grandchildren gave her the greatest joy and comfort. She enjoyed camping with friends, learning to play golf, gardening, trips to Hawaii, baking with her grand girls and shopping with her sister. She loved ladybug replicas which she had in her home and yard.
She fiercely fought colon cancer for 6 ½ years and endured multiple surgeries, chemo, radiation and clinical trials. The family gives their deepest gratitude to Dr. Philip Gold and staff at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
She leaves her spouse Eddie Dietz whom she married on August 12, 2000. They brought their families together which gave them four children and many grandchildren. She adored them all and made a loving home for them to come home to and visit. She also leaves behind her daughter, Tasha (Patrick) McCrite; son, Willie (Rachael) Sall; children, Taylor, Madison, Mikenna and Kayle; step-daughter, Tabitha (Mike) Moser and children, Bryce and Blake; step-son, Anthony (Jae) Gow and children, Jaeden and James; parents, Darrell and Janice Huseby; brother, Steven (Kari) Huseby; and niece, Amber; sister, Karen (Bob) Clement; and niece, Kayla.
Deborah will be immensely missed by all of us but we are in comfort knowing she is free of pain and living in Gods care.
A Memorial Service for friends and family will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at New Life Center, 6830 Highland Dr. Everett, WA.

I have been very involved since my mom's passing 6 weeks ago, so I was so greatly saddened when I learned today of your passing last month. When I met you , you always showed a sweet disposition, and a great smile. My prayers go out the the entire familly.

Ed, it's been a long 6 plus years since you told me of Debora's condition. We have had hundreds of conversations at work about all of the battles that she faced. She was tremendously courageous throughout all of her surgeries and clinical trials. She will be missed by all. As I have repeatedly said she was a "Rock Star" in my book being able to face this insidious disease which she in a way will be responsible someday for a cure because of what she endured. Take your time to heal and be assured your friends are hear for you.

Dear Jan & Darrell and family: Although we have lost touch over the years, I will never forget the fun times I and my siblings had playing with your kids. Your house was one of our favorites to visit.
I especially enjoyed the special friendship my Dad (Bill Davis) and Darrell shared for years. And Jan, your friendship with my Mom (Elaine Davis) kept our family visits possible.

Steve, Kari, Jan, and Darrell, as well as the remainder of the family: I was very sorry to read about Deborah's passing. My brother in law passed away from colon cancer 10 years ago, so I can appreciate the struggles that your family has gone through. Mr & Mrs Huseby, Tasha, Willie, Steven, Karen and Eddie,..... I am so sorry for your loss! It was a long battle and she fought it with Grace and Gods Love.
Debbie, you have been one of my best friends for over 40 yrs. We have gone through a lot of memories together and I will forever miss you but will always cherish the happy memories we have had.

Deborah, I woke this morning knowing today this would post, not wanting to open the paper knowing you would be there. It has been ten days without you physically with me. To say I miss you does not capture my feeling of your absence and this tremendous void. You are still in my heart, my head and my prayers....this will never change. Deborah, I have been so fortunate and grateful to have been a part of your life. We had a good life together and created a wonderful home for our kids and grandkids. I promise Papa Eddie will look over them all. The fight for your life was epic, your desire and will to live was inspiring to so many, especially me. Your attitude and drive gave us (everyone) the past 6 1/2 years more together. You found ways to pretend you felt ok when I know so often you didn't. Your my hero, my friend and will always be my partner. I love you and will see you again. I know you have found peace and comfort in heaven.
