I knew Dirk thru his work, just last week I gave my daughter his contact info and today I followed up with her and she told me, "his practice is closed, he died just a few weeks ago" I was sure she got people mixed up till I read the Obituary. I am so shocked, and yes what I remember is his easy way of conversing and explaining things in a unhurried way.
To his family, my deepest condolences.

So sorry to hear. We lived next door to Dirk and Lisa many years ago, they were the best neighbors ever. Dirk was always willing to give a hand when we were building our house, and always with a smile. Good memories.
