Denise, David, Don & Derrick - Oh the fun the Brindle, Ohrn & Heitman families had growing up together over the years. What a neighborhood! The pool Dixie had to have was the best thing that happened for all of us. Your mom was one bright smiling STAR & she is now with the ones she loves (including my dad) watching all of us. xoxo Bonnie Heitman Pierson

Dixie and family bring to our minds some wonderful memories over the 40+ years together! Days at the pool in your Shoreline house, dinners out together & the trip to Sunriver to name a few.
Dave, Don, Derrik & Denise know that we will be here for you as long as we are on this earth!
Love & prayers,
Carl & Dianna

David, Denise, Don and Derrick, My thoughts and prayers are with you kids. Just want you to know your mom certainly brought life and laughter to all the Heitman's for many years!!! She was an amazing neighbor and dear friend to all of us. We have so many fun Dixie stories. My dad got the biggest kick out of your mom. They are now in heaven together and I am sure they are having a gin and tonic together!! Love you kids, Kathy (Heitman) Bellin

My heart goes out to all of Dixie's family and friends. She was a neighbor of ours for many years in the Silver Lake area. Both my late husband, Rad, and I could always count on Dixie to make us laugh. She was an excellent neighbor and we always missed having her here. She is now no longer suffering from that terrible disease and is watching over her loved ones, forever young and full of love and laughter.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. May the God of all comfort grant you strength and peace, and his promises give you hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:14.
