Dorothy Marty Obituary
Dorothy Della Marty, 99, of Duvall, WA, passed away peacefully January 25th, 2026.
Mom was born April 5th, 1926 in Salem, OR to Ernest Richard "Dick" and Jessie (Gibson) Sorensen. She grew up in Monroe, married Anton "Pink" Marty in 1944 and raised their family on their Duvall farm during their 75 years of marriage. Mom worked hard, played hard and was the heart and soul of the Marty family.
She is survived by her children Mike (Marilyn), Larry (Life Partner Teri), Darlene Thorpe (Brian), Deb Lawson (Tom), Roger (Patti), also 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband "Pink", son Walter; parents "Dick" and Jessie Sorensen, brother Ernest "Sam" Sorensen, daughter-in-law Kathy, and beloved Vern.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 11th, Monroe Swiss Hall, from 12-4. A tribute will be at 1:30.
