Mrs Himple was a very special person, she was loved by all who knew her,she was a very strong person to be able to raise 14 children on her own when her husband passed.I was married to one of her children and it was a pleasure to have her as a mother-inlaw. God Bless all her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Marv and I met the Himple family in January of 1961 at Salem Tabernacle in the Silver Lake area. It later became Silver Lake Chapel, and between us in Sunday School and Youth group we were involved with all her wonderful children. Marv always remember her fabulous blackberry pies at the monthly board meetings. We love each and every one of you, and want you to know you have our love and prayers. I am sure Donna met her with a large smile and open arms. Barb and Marv Ranstrom

My sisters (Verna and Virginia)and I have always had such fond memories of Aunt Elnora.
She was always such a calm, kind person.....When I young, I wanted to be just like Aunt Elnora - needless to say, I didn't have a large family like she did but I was always envious of the wonderful family she had. She will be missed by many....I am out of state at the present time but wish to express my condolences and my sisters condolences to the family. LOVE

Unfortunately, Mrs. Himple and I had not met, I wish that we had. I am a good friend of her new daughter in law, Elizabeth. I am becoming a friend to her son Robert as well. Elizabeth has spoken fondly of Elenora Himple and I know that she will be missed. My sympathies for all of her family, may God bring a comfort to each of you. Kathryn Halls
