Frederick Anthony Adrian
May 10, 1924 - July 30th 2010

Fred Adrian passed away on July 30, 2010 after a brief six day illness. Fred was born in Holyoke, Mass & moved to WA in 1958 to join his family. Fred worked as a postal carrier for 25 years.
He joined the US Navy when he was 18 and served his country during WWII on the USS St. Louis and the USS Bailer. His tour of duty was in the Asiatic Pacific Area where he served as a Pharmacists Mate 3rd Class. He was awarded the WWII Victory medal and good conduct medal. He was a devoted husband to his wife Edwina for 50 years and a "teaching" father to his two children, Michael and Marilee.
Fred was a lifetime member of the American Legion, a member of the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corp and gave to many charities.
Fred loved his family and friends, and especially, his great-grandson, Mason Anthony Marsh.
Special thanks to his good neighbors Randi and Larry, Shirley and Errol, Phil, and Janet.
To Fred's good friend Curt and his buddies at the Blue Moon, Have a beer on Dad, he would have liked that. Special thanks to staff and caregivers at Olympic Place for their love and concern.
Fred lived a long full life and had no regrets.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; father, John; wife, Edwina; brother, John; and son, Michael.
He leaves behind his devoted daughter and "buddy," Marilee Sladek, and husband, Robin; brother, Edward Adrian; grandchildren, Amanda, Caitlin and Adam, Also great-grandson Mason; nephews, Eddie Adrian, and wife Patti, Bob Adrian, and wife Paula.
No one could tell a joke, or grow a tomato like Fred!
