We are deeply sorry for the loss of your dad. The love and admiration you (Scott & Linda) had was exhibited in the way you cared for him. We are sorry there are so many miles between us and that we couldn't be there for support. Our thoughts are with you. Love, Barb & Morrie

I'm writing this note as I saw the notice in the Everett Herald of Geo Lehtola's passing. I did not know him but the name caught my eye as I too, was born in Lake Norden and I knew Abner Lehtola and went to country school with Walter. I am assuming that George was one of the children of John Lehtola?
Had I known that one of the Lehtola's lived so close I would have called upon him. I have lived here in Woodinville for 30 years. I am a Hoika and my great-grandparents were Johan & Maria Hoika. The Hoika homestead still stands just a few miles from the Lehtola farm.
My thoughts are with you at this time.
