Glen D. Cunningham

Glen D. Cunningham, 78, died December 17 in Lynnwood, Washington following an extended illness. Glen was born in Pyatt, Arkansas on September 16, 1933 to Oral and Della Cunningham.
Glen is survived by his wife of 59 years, Arlene; and his three daughters, Marcia Strunk and her husband, Dick, and their three children, Corbin, Nick, and Laceigh, of Yakima, Washington, Glenda Barlow and her husband, Glen, of Woodinville, Washington and their three sons, Ian of Seattle, WA Drew and Reid of Woodinville, Washington, Rhonda Simek and her husband, Jim, of Everett, Washington and their two daughters, Brynn of Eugene, Oregon, and Carissa of Seattle; and his great-granddaughter, Angela Barlow. He is also survived by a sister, Bonnie Hunter of Bergman, Arkansas; and a nephew, Jerry Cunningham of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Glen served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean War.
He was a successful sales rep for Preservative Paint for many years, from which he retired in 1995. Following his retirement he and his wife moved to Surprise, Arizona and spent 12 wonderful years there playing golf and making many wonderful friends.
The family would like to thank Maria Valea for her compassionate care during Glen's final weeks. Also, thank you to Susie, Glen's Hospice nurse, for helping Glen and his family through this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.

Nancy and I also had the pleasure of spending some time with them In Arizona. Glen was a true professional, and a gentlemen at all times. We'll miss you Glen.
