Gordon Dahl Obituary

March 22, 1929 - July 17, 2017 Gordon Thomas Dahl, 88, of Arlington, Washington, passed away on July 17, 2017, after a struggle with cancer. Gordy was born in Tacoma to Martin and Felicia Dahl on March 22, 1929. He worked at Washington State Ferries for 25 years and retired in Arlington, Washington in 1993. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Gordy was an avid classic car owner and restorer, and pursued his life with levity, intellectual curiosity, and love for great friends and family. Gordon is survived by the love of his life, his wife of almost 50 years, Marilyn; his daughters, Margaret Morris and Barbara Hoggan of Rowlett, Texas; his sisters, Felicie Walter and Janet Pugh; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and extended family and relatives. A special thank you to Providence Hospice and Home Care, doctors, nurses, and all who took care of Gordy. He hoped to leave happy memories to all. A private gathering with family and close friends will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the family home.
