Harry Botesch Obituary

Harry Edward Botesch&bb& Harry Edward Botesch, 84, passed away on April 30, 2001. &pe&Harry was born on February 17, 1917 in Lima, Ohio. Harry moved to the Everett area in September, 1946, to work for William Arild Johnson Architect. In 1955, he started his firm of Harry E. Botesch Architects and Assoc. He was Architect of record for Cascade High School, Providence Hospital Renovation Program, many schools, churches and other buildings throughout Washington, Oregon and Alaska. Harry also served as past president of the Society of American Registered Architects and American Institute of Architects.&pe&In 1984, Harry retired from his office, Botesch Nash and Associates, now known as Botesch Nash and Hall. He was active on city environmental committees, Chamber of Commerce, Past Exalted Ruler and District Deputy of the Elks, Masonic Order of Scottish Rite and 32 degree and Shriner, past president Kiwania's International, member of the Everett Golf and Country Club and member of the Central Lutheran Church.&pe&The family wants to thank Drs. Tom Cooper and David Erickson for their care and support during Harry's illness.&pe&Harry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn; son, John of Detroit, Michigan; grandchildren, Leigh, Michael and Diane; and two great-grandchildren, Krystal and Jonathan.&pe&He was preceded in death by his sister, Dolly Trione.&pe& Viewing will be Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy from Noon to 7:00pm and Wednesday, May 2, 2001 from 9:00am-7:00pm.&pe&A Graveside Service will be held at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 11:30am followed by a Memorial Service at Central Lutheran Church at 1:00pm.&pe&Memorials are suggested to the Central Lutheran Memorial Fund, Everett Gospel Mission or the Local Chapter for Abused Women.&pe& Arrangements by Purdy & Walters with Cassidy.
