Jared Bertelsen Obituary

With broken heartedness, we share that Jared Bertelsen, 32, has passed away at his residence in Everett, Washington on October 4, 2024 of natural causes. The world has lost a kindhearted, thoughtful, give-the-shirt-off-his-back, up-for-adventures, go-to-for-tech-answers, encouraging and caring individual. Jared's memories will forever be cherished in our hearts. We will miss his listening ears and spirit of non-judgementalness.

Jared started his life on May 15, 1992 in Farmington, New Mexico, born to Ken and Keri Bertelsen who enjoyed raising such a happy and easy-going sweet baby boy. Jared did most of his growing up years in Havre, Montana and then spent his adult years in Everett, Washington.

He loved the Seattle Seahawks and playing with his "fur-son" Georgie and spending time with family and friends. As an incredibly loving and devoted uncle, his most favorite moments were spent visiting with his nephew, Silas, and they would play fortnite for hours and hours.

Jared has now joined his dad, Ken Bertelsen; grandmother Carol Butterfield; grandfather Gale Butterfield; grandfather Clarence Bertelsen; and fur-son Cedar. And has left behind his mom, Keri Bertelsen; siblings, Chelsea Bertelsen(Payton McMahan), Meriel English, and Paige Bertelsen; nephew Silas Grote; and fur-son Georgie.

Friends and family gathered together for his memorial at the Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo, Washington. Jared meant so very much to his family and all those who knew him. He was always and will always be very much loved.
