Jason Kent Bennett
Jason Kent Bennett, 41, of Stanwood, WA, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2010 at the Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA.
He was born on September 9, 1969 in Burien, WA.
Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Vivian Fisher, and Rowland and Maxine Bennett; and mother-in-law, Christine Gitchel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chrissie Bennett; sons, Jacob Bennett, Lucas Bennett, and Marcus Shadbolt; and daughter, Taylor Bennett. He also leaves behind his mother, Diana Gitchel; stepfather, Tommie Gitchel of Arlington, WA; father, Randall (Jerry) Bennett of Gig Harbor, WA; brother, Shawn (Cathy) Elliott of Everett, WA; brother, Brent Bennett of Enumclaw, WA; sister-in-law, Tina (John) Vandewerfhorst of Arlington; uncle, William Fisher of N.M.; aunt, Carolyn (Richard) Woeck of Woodway, WA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jason loved the outdoors and camping at Skagit River Woods with family and friends. He also walking on the beach at Warm Beach with his wife and kids looking for sea glass. Jason worked hard, played hard, and loved hard, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life party for Jason will be announced at a later date.
A special thanks from Jason's family to the nursing staff on the 4th floor at the Providence Regional Medical Center.

jason was my son. i loved him more than anybody will ever know.i can only hope that he resting peacefully now. maybe someday we'll meet again i hope. till then i love you jason.

Wonderful memories of Jason flood my mind. His Dad and I miss him so much. He has been a part of my life since he was 18 mos old...he is my son in my heart. I remember our times at the property...camping and Lake Chelan (which we did alot) and when he came to visit us on Maui when we lived there. We had such a good time. Good memories that we'll alway cherish!! We love you, Jason!!!!
