Jeffery Lee Pangburn

Jeffery Lee Pangburn, aged 56, died of health complications on November 1, 2025.

Jeff was born in La Jolla, California, to Donna J. Whittaker Larson Pangburn and William Lee Pangburn (deceased). He spent most of his childhood in Snohomish, Washington, taking residence in Oak Harbor, Washington, from middle school onward. Jeff attended Coupeville Junior Senior High School before earning his GED.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Donna; his brother, Jon Charles Larson; his sister, Cheryl Ann Rafert; and cousins Robin Henderson, Darlena Helm, and Keith Meissner. Affectionately known as "Uncle Jeff the Giant," he leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, William; a half brother, Robert Lee Pangburn; a cousin, Mary Kay Meissner; uncles Gerald Pangburn, David Lee Whittaker, and Paul Clyde Johnson; an aunt, Darla Fay Meissner; grandparents Clifton Leigh, Lilly Pangburn, George L. Whittaker, and Margaret A. Mulliken-Whittaker.

Jeff was well-known throughout the Whidbey Island community, often referred to as "Gentle Jeff" or "Jeff the Giant" by his friends and acquaintances.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery in Everett, Washington, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at Gospel Light Church in Everett, Washington. A community memorial service will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at The Center in Oak Harbor, Washington.
